Navigation beyond signal

Download the road before it disappears.

Prepare a territory while connected, keep its essential map data on your device, and know exactly when Driftistan is working offline.

01 / Coverage gaps

Signal should not decide the journey.

Remote roads, underground parking, busy networks, and mobile-data limits can interrupt map access. Driftistan lets you prepare a bounded territory instead of pretending the entire internet is always available.

02 / Territory packs

Download the area you need.

Choose an area around your route and save the territory pack to the device. The Offline area shows pack size, age, and availability so you can remove or refresh it deliberately.

Clear status: Driftistan labels online, degraded, and offline states. It does not present a network route as available when a required resource was never downloaded.
03 / Route simulation

See the route form in real time.

When you choose a destination, the map shows the route search and transition instead of jumping silently from one state to another. If the route changes, Driftistan presents rerouting progress and the updated path.

Online routing can use live services. Offline capability depends on the data contained in the downloaded territory, so the interface distinguishes a complete offline route from a fallback or unavailable calculation.

04 / Honest limits

Offline does not mean omniscient.

Downloaded maps cannot know every current closure, temporary restriction, traffic condition, or business change. Road signs, closures, local authority instructions, and safe judgement always take priority over app guidance.

05 / Quick checklist

Prepare before moving.

  • Download the destination and surrounding territory over a stable connection.
  • Confirm the pack is available offline before starting the vehicle.
  • Set the destination and mount the phone before moving.
  • Use voice or a passenger for changes while driving.
