Many in-car Android units use older processors, unusual screen sizes, limited memory, and older WebView versions. Driftistan Car is a separate edition so layout, startup checks, and resource use can be tuned for dashboard hardware without holding back the flagship phone app.

The essentials stay reachable.

Android 6 is the floor, not a guarantee.

The current car package targets Android 6 and newer. Actual operation also depends on a working Android System WebView, Google-free or vendor-specific device services, available GPS hardware, graphics support, storage, and the head unit firmware.

Run the built-in compatibility report before relying on the app. A successful installation alone does not prove that map rendering, GPS, or sensors are available.

Prepare map areas before the signal drops.

Car data connections can be intermittent. Download the required territory while parked and connected, then confirm the pack is present before departure. Offline maps cannot know every live closure, traffic event, or changed restriction.
